I must take this time to emphasize how much autism awareness can benefit from hosting Tommy Hilfiger on your The Ellen Show. I was once again reading the Autism Speaks official blog and learned that Autism Speaks in conjunction with the New York Center for Autism hosted an event called A Funny Affair For Autism. During this event, performances from Saturday Night Live stars, Seth Myers and Bill Hader were featured and with the 4o0 guests that attended 1.3 million dollars were raised.
Seeing as the only media coverage of this event was the Wall Street Journal, I feel as though Autism Speaks needs to be exposed to people of a younger and more mainstream demographic. Your show targets this perfect group of people. Bringing the issue of autism into the mainstream will put autism in the faces of many people who do not understand how big of an issue autism is and growing to be. Please take a look at the posted published by the Autism Speaks blog posted here: http://bit.ly/rtGeF5, and take everything into consideration when thinking about the possibilities that could be realities if you take the time to help spread autism awareness into the mainstream.
